Had a marvelous costume fitting this morning, and thought back to some favorite costumes over the years. ⁣

And then I thought about other aspects of life that need to be “fitted” to us. What aspect of your life might need a bit of an alteration?⁣
⁣
Costume fittings are unique because they are the exact opposite of shopping. Shopping consists of hunting through racks of pre-existing, mass produced clothes to find something that fits you and expresses the story you are trying to tell. ⁣
⁣
Conversely, costume fittings consist of someone having constructed or discovered a piece that already tells the story you are trying to tell, and then making the OUTFIT fit YOU instead of the other way around.⁣
⁣
What if you crafted other pieces of your life to fit you, instead of squeezing into a life or job or role or task that no longer fits or expresses the story you are trying to tell?⁣
