Last night just before sunset, I emerged from the subway to discover that all of New York was lit by this vibrant color of rose gold.⁣

I’d been inside (in air conditioning!) at a church meeting, working with an exciting and insightful group of people to apply design thinking as we create our strategic plan. There were many God-moments at that meeting, but the most powerful one happened after the meeting.⁣

The light just before sun set was so stunning that I went to the roof of my building for a better view. After I took this picture, I did something I hadn’t done in a very long time: just sat and watched the sun go down. ⁣

When do you feel most connected to the majesty of the earth?⁣
