This is my superhero pose. What makes you feel like a superhero?
I’ve got all sorts of clients and friends saving the world every day through ordinary and extraordinary actions.
We also need some people to step up and make extraordinary changes on a systemic level. The people who sit on the boards of charities, talk up an issue in the press, bring attention to a matter among influencers in other industries.
It’s the business owners who want a charity partner, the religious leaders who can leverage change in a community, the active citizens who have the ear of government officials, the media personalities who already has a following, or anyone passionate about a cause.
Is that you? If so, my friend Juliet and I designed an all-new live event, Superhero Impact Training.
In one day, we’ll identify your superpowers, determine your superhero mission, gather a posse for your hero’s journey, and do a bit of networking and media training. It’s high impact, full of hope, and fun.
It’s for people who want to give back in leveraged ways, whether it’s globally or right next door. Maybe their heart is with a local arts organization, or a religious institution, or the environment.
It’s not about swooping in with a big check (although that doesn’t hurt.) It’s about actually walking alongside the people, partnering with them, and using connections to make a difference and leave a legacy.
It’s about righting a wrong, or making things fairer, better, more beautiful, or sustainable.
It’s about leading the change you want to see in the world.
And it’s next Wednesday, May 22 in New York City. If you or someone you know would be a good match for Superhero Impact Training, I’d love a quick message so we can connect.
