Today is all about connecting with people who signed up to talk after this congregational retreat I led last weekend. What’s on your plate?
As I connect with people who attended this retreat, it strikes me how each of them are positioned to be leaders in their own way, in their own context. They are not all aware of it, nor have they given themselves permission to do so.
Why? Day to day, it makes more sense to keep coasting along and putting bandaids on situations as life speeds by. We need to set up times to stop and consider if there are better, more permanent solutions to everyday matters. We need time to envision, dream, strategize, and take new action.
We need to stop and consider how God is calling us to serve.
Today, stop to strategize an everyday situation. Consider how you could be a leader and change a system. Maybe even think about how you could start working toward a lifelong dream that’s been put on hold.
